Business concept
By working with carefully chosen suppliers and by training our staff regularly K-analys AB offers advanced analytical instruments and technical support to the Nordic chemistry and materials sector.

History
K-analys AB was inaugurated in 1990, when the founder, Dr. Lars Hälldahl, was working as a Scientific Attaché at the Swedish Embassy in Tokyo, Japan. The strong connection to Japan and japanese technology led to the original business idea - to bring Japanese instruments to the Nordic and European markets, and to sell Swedish instruments to Japan.
The company now has suppliers in many parts of the world and has an small laboratory in connection to the office where analysis and instrument demonstrations are done. To meet the increasing demand for technology in China K-analys has established a daughter company in Shanghai.

Dr. Lars Hälldahl
As a token of his appreciation of the Japanese people and culture, Dr Hälldahl wanted the name of the company to have some connection to Japan. Thus the name K-analys, where K stands for Kagaku which is japanese for chemistry and science.
